is important to me. I started singing in chorus at age 6 through my church, then spent over a decade with the Brooklyn Youth Chorus until 2020.

I studied vocal music in middle school and high school as well. I discovered that music wasn't just something I did—it was shaping who I was becoming. It gave me confidence and taught me that passion guides you to the right places.

In college, I channeled this passion into service through Tufts Public Harmony, performing free concerts at assisted living facilities, hospitals, and shelters. Music became my way of connecting with communities and understanding how powerful storytelling could create genuine human connection.

What captivated me about music was its ability to completely transform meaning through tone, dynamics, and rhythm, taking the same words and making audiences feel entirely different emotions. This led me to explore writing during the pandemic as a Girls Write Now mentee, where I discovered a new outlet, helping me understand my own perspective while learning from others.

The intersection of music and writing revealed my true passion: the art of strategic storytelling. Both taught me that the most powerful messages aren't just about what you say, but how you make people feel.

In advertising, I get to combine these skills, using the emotional intelligence I developed through music with the narrative craft I honed through writing, to create campaigns that don't just communicate, but genuinely connect.

Below are writing pieces that show how I use my voice to tell stories that matter.
